  Sept 2nd (day after our baby girl passed) I contacted the director from the hospital and he came at a good time and explained everything very thoroughly and respected our decision and handled our baby girl with such care. The cremation was the same day and we got her ashes that afternoon. I signed up for their daily grief emails which helps a lot too.

  It's a funeral home. They're depressing LOL!! However, staff is very kind and it's very clean.

  The staff at Wheeler are the most compassionate people I've ever met. They handle the cremation of pets and working dogs in addition to people. Many police K9 officers who have died have been handled at Wheeler's. This was the second time I brought a large (125+ pound) dog to them for cremation. He was a working livestock guardian dog. They treated him with the respect they would do for a human client. They understand the valuable bond between dog and owner. Their provided me with a cost list that I could chose from. Very transparent. Very reasonable price. But, for me, the most important was that they treated my dog in death the way I loved him in life.
